Welcome to the launch pad for your research into your new computer.  Choosing a new computer can feel challenging so I recommend that you get clear on what you want from your computer by reading through my brief guide to selecting the right type of computer and what should be in the box.

Then it is time to draw up a shortlist by having a look at what is in the market.  Here the online reviews are useful to separate the beautiful from the dysfunctional.  Below are some 2015 articles which are helpful to reducing – fairly significantly – the range of machines to a small number.  These focus on laptops at first but I will add more shortly for desktops and tablets – do call me if you need some advice before I post these.
